Sie ist ber\u00fchmt f\u00fcr ihr hochwertiges Manganerz und das weltweit gr\u00f6\u00dfte Seilbahnnetz. Ich hatte erfahren, dass unser Veteran, Lawrentij Enukidse, am 28.07. eine Augenoperation (Grauer Star) haben wird und dringend Geld daf\u00fcr ben\u00f6tigt. Herr Enukidse hat im Mai dieses Jahres seinen 98.\u00a0Geburtstag gefeiert und f\u00fchlt sich recht gut, aber seine Augen werden schlechter. Er war ein Offizier, Oberstabsarzt. W\u00e4hrend seiner Kriegsgefangenschaft unternahm er vier Fluchtversuche, der letzte erfolgreich. Sp\u00e4ter war er 25\u00a0Jahre lang Leiter des Gesundheitswesens seiner Heimatstadt Tschiatura. Er ist Doktor der Medizin, Autor von drei Monographien, hat ungef\u00e4hr 40\u00a0Artikel und f\u00fcnf B\u00fccher geschrieben. Er hat bis zum 88.\u00a0Lebensjahr aktiv als Mediziner gearbeitet.
